I adore this ad. If I had a top ten list of ads, this would be on it. It’s an eye-catching visual, it dramatises the ‘light’ message in a powerful way, it’s singular in focus, and it’s memorable. It’s a classic example of ‘a picture speaks a thousand words’. Bravo Diet Coke. Bravo the team that created it.
Take risks. If you win, you will be happy. If you lose, you will be wise.

Empathy (alongside things like creativity, commercial-nous and salesmanship*) is one of those core ingredients that makes the difference between a marketing communicator and a brilliant marketing communicator.
