Background: ‘average speed checks’ plague Britain’s major motorways, bringing traffic speeds down to 50 mph. I buy the safety point, but it’s the frequency of them – and long distances they cover – that are annoying. Driving a long way, which I’ve being doing a lot of recently, can be a frustratingly sluggish experience. Which made me think of this ad idea for a well-known airline offering domestic flights.
