I’d feel gutted if someone with the same experience, competence and effectiveness as me got paid 30% more, just because they had hazel-coloured eyes (unless we were modelling hazel eye products). Or just because they were left-handed, or preferred the colour yellow, or some other trait that was unrelated to their ability to do a job. So, why is it OK for women to get paid less than men? Baffling.
